Staff Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting our client's financial reporting and analysis needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze financial information to prepare accurate and timely journal entries
  • Conduct general ledger analysis and perform adjustments and reclassifications as needed
  • Assist with preparing subsidiary schedules to ensure the accuracy of the general ledger
  • Assist with monthly bank account reconciliations
  • Prepare financial reports, analyze and summarize data
  • Prepare for audits and respond to auditor requests as needed
  • Support accounts payable as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three years of accounting experience
  • Non-profit or healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
Compensation:

$28.00 to $32.00 per hour
