We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team at Jackmont Hospitality Inc. as a key member of our hospitality team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Greet Guests, build rapport, and ensure an enjoyable, quality dining experience.
  • Order Taking: Promptly and accurately take food and beverage requests from Guests.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Ensure expedient service of food and beverages to the Guest, checks frequently to ensure everything is to the Guests' specifications.
  • Menu Knowledge: Learn TGIF menu and beverages, expertly recommends and upsells on items.
  • Age Verification: ID all Guests ordering alcoholic beverages who appear to be 40 years old or younger.
  • Brand Standards: Following all relevant brand standards for service.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Accurately rings all orders into the POS system.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Physical Demands: Must be able to deliver plates and food and clear tables, which may require lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Communication Skills: Must be able to hear well amongst loud background noise.
  • Appearance and Grooming: Must be dressed neatly and well groomed in company approved uniform at all times.
  • Technical Skills: Must be able to operate P.O.S. system, make change correctly and make credit card transactions accurately.
  • Conflict Resolution: Must be able to calmly respond to angry Guests and notify a Manager.
  • Accessibility: Must be able to read and write notes to hearing impaired Guests.
  • Menu Reading: Must be able to read menus to sight-impaired Guests.
  • Verbal Communication: Must be able to verbalize menu items clearly to Guests while taking their orders or responding to their request.
