As a key member of our People Function, you will serve as an expert advisor and consultant to all levels of leadership, including Directors and General Partners, on complex and sensitive associate relations and business challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, guide, direct, and influence firm leaders and associates through multifaceted interpersonal, business, and leadership challenges.
  • Assess and determine appropriate action based on the investigation of facts, circumstances, and input from all involved parties.
  • Provide decisions and advise leaders on how to execute outcomes, ranging from coaching to separation of employment.
  • Collaborate and coach Associate Relations Business Partners in complex situations to arrive at appropriate outcomes.
  • Assist department leadership with the development of new Associate Relations Business Partners through onboarding, training, and coaching.
  • Promote and enable a fair and inclusive workplace, representing Edward Jones culture and values while mitigating legal, business, financial, regulatory, reputational, and associate experience risks.
  • Manage and resolve complex issues escalated by other COEs, advising and collaborating with external entities and internal functions.
  • Represent the Associate Relations function on division and firm initiatives, collaborating with cross-divisional leadership to set strategy focused on the associate experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR position with 2 years directly in employee relations, including in-depth knowledge of employment law.
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
