About the Role

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Avera Brady Health and Rehab provides direct, personal care and services to residents in our skilled nursing facility, meeting their physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual needs on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of a licensed nurse, provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and transferring.
  • Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for residents.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and services are provided to residents.

Requirements

  • Certified as a nursing assistant in the State of South Dakota required within 120 days of starting this position.
  • Basic Life Support Certification required within 6 months if primary work shift is a night shift position.

Work Schedule

  • Evening Shift: 4:30pm-8:30pm, every other weekend, every other holiday; 24 hours every 2 weeks.

Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $24.00 per hour, with actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
