Job Overview:

  • Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) delivers direct personal care and services to residents in a skilled nursing facility, addressing their physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual needs to promote and maintain their highest level of independence.
  • The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) must possess a genuine commitment to providing exceptional daily care and building meaningful relationships with residents.
  • The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) should be capable of delivering care in a fast-paced setting while effectively collaborating with the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a nursing assistant in the State of South Dakota is required within 120 days of employment.
  • Basic Life Support Certification is necessary within 6 months if the primary work shift is during the night.

Work Schedule:

  • 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, every third weekend, every third holiday; 48 hours every two weeks.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is as follows. Actual pay rate will be determined based on experience.
