Our client is a leading provider of innovative packaging solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Quality Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve product/service quality and operational efficiency.
- Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and present quality control reports and metrics to senior management.
- Manage the daily activity of quality staff, including lead persons, auditors, label personnel, and clerical positions.
- Maintain SPC (statistical process control) as a working tool in the plant.
- Identify, measure, and maintain key customer satisfaction measurements (OTIF, DI, Response time).
- Ensure compliance with federal and local regulations, including UN, DOT, EPA, and FDA.
- Assist the plant manager with quality investigation and reporting.
- Develop and implement the ISO conforming quality and documentation system.
- 3-10 years of quality experience.
- Strong background in packaging or a similar field.
- BRC packaging and packaging material implementation experience is a plus.
- Background in measuring process using SPC.
- Lead auditor certification in the BRC standards or strong audit experience.
- Experience in cost reduction, production efficiency improvements, and continuous improvement activities.
- Salary up to $95k depending on experience and interviews.
- 4 weeks of PTO.
- 5% bonus based on company/plant performance.
