  • Assist the Provost in managing funding proposals and seeking new funding opportunities
  • Keep careful records to track proposals and analyze the feasibility of project budgets
  • Develop and write grant proposals to government, foundations, and other funding organizations
  • Design and implement effective workflow processes and procedures
  • Assemble and submit grant requests, including letters, proposals, budgets, and presentations
  • Maintain a calendar to ensure timely submission of letters of inquiry, proposal deadlines, and reports
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or public relations
  • At least 3 years of professional grant management/development experience
  • Database management experience, including entering and maintaining data, building and running reports, and developing process improvements
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to produce a quality work product within tight time constraints
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
