Your primary responsibility will involve assessing and rectifying high-end hotel rooms to guarantee a five-star experience for our guests.

This role is a vital component of the engineering team, where you and your colleagues will enhance guest rooms through light painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, and the proficient use of hand tools to meet the expectations of our discerning clientele.

Comprehensive training will be provided for proactive individuals dedicated to delivering flawless experiences that align with luxury guest expectations.



Key Responsibilities:

Room Inspections:
Conduct regular evaluations of all rooms and facilities to pinpoint maintenance and repair requirements.

Maintenance Planning:
Establish a preventive maintenance plan for each room, detailing tasks and frequencies for inspections, cleaning, and repairs.

Maintenance Execution:
Carry out maintenance activities such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, and minor carpentry as necessary.

Inventory Management:
Monitor maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment, ensuring their readiness for routine tasks.

Contractor Coordination:
Organize and supervise the efforts of external contractors for specialized maintenance and repair assignments.

Safety Standards:
Ensure that all rooms and facilities meet safety regulations and standards, addressing any safety concerns promptly.

Record Keeping:
Maintain precise documentation of all maintenance activities, including schedules, work completed, and associated costs.

Budget Oversight:
Assist in planning the budget for the maintenance program, ensuring that expenditures remain within financial limits.

Staff Training:
Provide training and supervision to junior maintenance personnel as needed.

Emergency Response:
React promptly to urgent maintenance requests and emergencies, even outside of standard working hours.

Additional Duties &

Responsibilities:
Engage in departmental problem-solving initiatives.

Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in general maintenance, ideally in a comparable role.

Strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural elements.

Competence in utilizing maintenance tools and equipment.

Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Exceptional problem-solving and time-management abilities.

Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Physical endurance and capability to lift heavy items and work in various environmental conditions.

Experience, Education, & Licensure:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in maintenance and repair is advantageous.

Valid Vehicle Operator's License

Compensation

Base Pay Start Rate:
$24.00/Hr
