Learfield, a leading media and technology services company in intercollegiate athletics, is seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for developing and selling creative sponsorship packages to local, regional, and national companies/brands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and/or exceed assigned sales goals by building and maintaining lasting relationships with corporate partners and athletic department staff.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, including traditional, non-traditional, and digital marketing assets.
  • Execute the entirety of the sales process, including prospecting, building/presenting sales presentations, creating proposals, and negotiating contracts.
  • Manage a book of business and be responsible for the upselling and renewing of current partners.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to analyze a client's marketing needs and craft integrated solutions to meet those needs.
  • Negotiating skills, ability to identify and influence key decision makers.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills.
