Job Summary:The Clinical Nurse Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care services for a designated unit or patient population. This role requires strong clinical leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and implement patient care services for a designated unit or patient population.
- Monitor performance of nursing personnel and provide feedback as needed.
- Participate in performance improvement and research activities.
- Maintain professional practice standards and clinical expertise.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and contribute to the actualization of the vision, mission, and values of Montefiore Medical Center.
- New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse.
- Current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.
- Certification preferred in specialty or efforts to achieve certification.
- BSN degree required and 5 years clinical experience, two of which must be in the specialty or related service.
- Computer literate.
- BLS.
