Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Howmet Aerospace Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes, and will play a critical role in maintaining our company's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on complex products and processes to ensure conformance to requirements.
  • Measurement Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records of inspections, tests, and other quality-related activities.
  • Audit and Compliance: Participate in audits and ensure compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training in blueprint reading and inspection.
  • Experience: 2-5 years' experience as an inspector in a manufacturing environment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Skills: Full understanding of GD&T and basic understanding of statistics; skilled in using a variety of measurement equipment; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Software Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Physical Demands: Typically sits, grasps items, and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer; stand, walk, bend, reach, or otherwise move about occasionally; lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 35 lbs. occasionally, >20 lbs. frequently.
