Position Overview

As an Internal Auditor Liaison at Victory, you will collaborate with our engineering teams, support staff, and external audit partners to:

  • Conduct Comprehensive Audits: Engage in advanced auditing and advisory tasks to establish a robust audit framework for SOC2 and the Department of Defense Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) / FedRAMP.
  • Research and Analysis: Perform thorough research, benchmarking, and review of records and financial statements.
  • Risk Assessment: Execute data and risk evaluations, pinpoint suitable controls, assess business operations, and review management processes.
  • Audit Management: Oversee the formulation of an appropriate audit scope, selection of external auditors, and ensure the successful execution of annual audits.
  • Documentation and Data Collection: Continuously gather operational documentation and data samples to address process deficiencies or document accepted risks before they escalate into findings.
  • External Auditor Relations: Maintain proactive relationships with external auditors to anticipate shifts in audit focus and prepare the organization accordingly.
  • Organizational Education: Inform the organization about audit requirements, risk analysis, and controls, while assisting in the integration of best practices into our operational framework.
  • Corrective Action Identification: Identify and document necessary corrective actions based on audit findings.
  • Client Documentation Requests: Respond to client inquiries regarding our processes and audit documentation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about changes to Cybersecurity Unallowable Expenditures (CUECs) from our partners and vendors.
Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Proficient in auditing per generally accepted auditing standards and risk-based internal auditing.
  • Familiarity with basic information technology controls in a cloud-based environment.
  • Skilled in analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing data, policies, and procedures for effective audit execution.
  • Able to establish and maintain trust-based relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
