Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Application Engineer to join our team at SEL. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing communication solutions for our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and implement communication solutions for SEL products
  • Leverage strong background in networking, routing, and Ethernet design
  • Integrate radio communication effectively into SEL applications
  • Design and implement SONET applications and solutions
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations to customers and industry events
  • Travel up to 25% of the time to engage with customers, attend conferences, and collaborate with SEL teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong networking background with expertise in network protocols, routing, and Ethernet design
  • Familiarity with radio communication standards and their integration
  • Knowledge of SONET applications and design principles
  • Effective communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences
  • Willingness to travel regularly
  • Curiosity and adaptability to learn new technologies and assume new responsibilities
  • Collaborative team player with ability to work effectively in a team environment
