Job Summary

ASML US, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Applications Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading system performance-related technical escalations, driving time to containment, and ensuring class-leading CS Application support on advanced EUV nodes.

This is a unique opportunity to grow further in technical expertise roles, project leadership, or management leadership roles. The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical disciplines, with a Master's degree or PhD, and a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize and organize actions effectively and efficiently. They will also have strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and follow-up skills, with the ability to thrive in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.

This role requires up to 10% travel for training and x-site support. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and demonstrate a high level of technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead system performance-related technical escalations
  • Drive time to containment and solution individually, with team members, and leveraging resources
  • Ensure class-leading CS Application support on advanced EUV nodes
  • Participate and/or lead projects aimed at supporting customer transition to new technology nodes or ramp up specific technology nodes
  • Own workstreams within larger projects and develop and drive autonomously a project plan and chase successful execution with regular updates to relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Define and conduct on-product experiments and data analysis to ensure accurate conclusions are drawn from customer-acquired experimental data and results reported to ASML and customer
  • Translate customer on-product issues into potential lithography or metrology-related problem statements, resolve these issues to help customers maximize performance and use of ASML products
  • Meet with internal and external stakeholders to maintain two-way level of commitment and keep all involved and affected parties informed of progress

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or PhD in a technical discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the semiconductor or manufacturing industry
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with utilizing MATLAB, Python, JMP, or similar software
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis and analyzing technical data to summarize and present findings
  • Extensive experience with stakeholder and change management
