Our team empowers clients to navigate the evolving energy landscape by providing accurate analysis, software solutions, and expert advice.

The CES MOC consists of two distinct operations desks: the Market Operations Center Desk (MOC) and the Operations Control Center Desk (OCC). As a Power Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients' energy needs by monitoring and controlling generation assets, submitting bids and offers, and coordinating planned and unplanned outages. You will also be responsible for maintaining an operations log and ensuring compliance with ISO/RTO requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control generation assets, including wind turbines, hydroelectric plants, solar sites, and battery storage facilities.
  • Submit Real Time and Day Ahead Energy bids and offers on behalf of our clients.
  • Coordinate planned and unplanned outages notifications and ensure compliance with ISO/RTO requests.
  • Maintain an operations log and provide detailed reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills and experience with SCADA/EMS systems.
  • A two-year college degree in Electrical Technology, Finance/Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • PJM or NERC Operator Certification is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with power trading and scheduling in various ISOs, including ISONE, NYISO, PJM, MISO, SPP, ERCOT, and CAISO.
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks without direct supervision.
