PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Under the general supervision of the Director of English Learner Programs & Student Achievement and/or their designee, this role involves assisting in the coordination, development, and oversight of support services for categorical programs.
KEY DUTIES:
Engage in daily outreach activities that demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of categorical programs, including effective communication with parents, students, and district personnel.

Maintain accurate documentation for program audits and collaborate with external agencies conducting these audits.

Support the formulation and revision of specific program systems, policies, procedures, and related documentation as mandated by district policies and legislation.

Assist in gathering data for fiscal and reporting obligations; conduct audits, reporting, and follow-up on collected data.
E
Organize and facilitate parent outreach initiatives and conferences related to categorical programs.
E
Develop annual parent applications for tutoring programs.
E
Coordinate interviews with service providers.
E
Oversee the creation and completion of contracts with service providers.
E
Generate, process, and maintain precise, complex, and multifaceted categorical program data files, with the ability to analyze and query data for various reports.

Identify eligibility for services based on students' specific needs.

Establish and maintain a database for 'Student Learning Plans' and track their approval status.

Maintain a record of service provider expenditure data.

Coordinate and oversee visits to tutoring sessions to ensure compliance.

Collaborate with service providers, vendors, community organizations, and regulatory bodies as required.

Communicate effectively, with a thorough understanding of categorical programs, with students, parents, tutors, and administrators on a daily basis.

Coordinate the collection and analysis of all data required by the district and regulatory agencies, submitting it as necessary.

Attend relevant conferences and training sessions associated with assigned programs.

Perform related duties as necessary to achieve the objectives of the position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A High School Diploma or GED completion, along with college-level coursework equivalent to an associate's degree, or three years of experience in a categorical program office demonstrating the ability to perform the described duties.
