Position Overview:

The RV Sales Consultant is expected to uphold the highest standards of integrity and customer service. This role involves assisting, educating, and guiding clients to find the recreational vehicle that best suits their requirements while serving as a liaison between the customer and various departments within the dealership.

Key Responsibilities:


• Assist clients in selecting the RV that aligns with their needs and provide advice on towing specifications.


• Present and promote all models of new and pre-owned recreational vehicles.


• Offer additional value-added services and products.


• Prepare sales agreements for review by the sales manager.


• Deliver a professional and high-quality experience while driving sales for both new and used RVs.


• Conduct engaging demonstrations and thorough feature presentations.


• Maintain consistent follow-up with potential and existing customers.


• Utilize customer relationship management software as necessary.


• Employ dealership management software as required.


• Attend all required meetings and training sessions.


• Act as a communication bridge between customers and all other departments.


• Stay informed about current inventory and maintain strong communication with management.


• Ensure a safe and tidy work environment for both customers and colleagues.


• May cross-train to perform additional responsibilities.


• Acquire knowledge of all RV categories, including tent trailers, fifth wheels, trailers, and luxury motorhomes.


• Perform any other assigned tasks as needed.

Qualifications:


• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.


• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.


• Proven sales capabilities and customer service expertise.


• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.


• Effective time management skills with a history of meeting deadlines.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.


• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.


• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Education and Experience:


• Proficiency in standard computer applications.


• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.


• Basic understanding of recreational vehicles is advantageous.


• Ability to apply suggestive selling techniques in daily interactions.

Physical Requirements:


• Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.


• Capability to walk and stand for prolonged durations.


• Ability to bend and kneel for extended periods.


• Must be able to safely use a ladder and work at heights.


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
