Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule post-hospital appointments and obtain authorizations for Hospitalist services at multiple hospitals.

- Utilize medical terminology to accurately document patient information and communicate with healthcare teams.
- Operate a multi-line phone system and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and ability to recognize, spell, and use medical terminology appropriately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak clearly and distinctly using appropriate vocabulary and grammar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to type with speed and accuracy and maintain accurate records.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
