Job Summary
The Associate Vice President, Annual & Leadership Giving will lead a team of experienced fundraising professionals in developing and implementing strategic plans to increase undergraduate donor counts and grow current-use annual gifts of $10,000 and above. This role is critical in driving the University's fundraising goals and making a significant impact on its mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to increase undergraduate donor counts and grow current-use annual gifts of $10,000 and above.
- Lead a team of 37 full-time staff, including three directors, and 15 full-time frontline fundraisers.
- Collaborate with University leaders and other stakeholders to develop and implement fundraising initiatives.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to measure team performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with alumni, parents, students, and University leaders to drive fundraising efforts.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in fundraising and apply innovative approaches to drive results.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of successful performance and management in annual fundraising.
- Proven ability to lead and manage individuals and teams to drive performance and maintain high motivation and morale.
- Exceptional collaborative and interpersonal skills, with strong working relationships with peers and senior leaders.
- Superb oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree.
