Key Responsibilities- Receive and prioritize repair orders from our service advisors, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Diagnose and repair complex vehicle problems, using your expertise and knowledge of Hyundai vehicles to identify and resolve issues.
- Communicate effectively with our parts department to obtain necessary parts and materials, and ensure that all work is completed in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required, and advise our service advisors accordingly.
- Document all work performed, including road testing and any additional work required.
- Supervise and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technical bulletins and factory-sponsored training classes, ensuring that your skills and knowledge are always current and relevant.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- ASE certification preferred.
- General mechanical skills and knowledge of Hyundai vehicles.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Manual dexterity and good judgment.
