Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate P&L statements to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to correct any deficiencies in financial performance.
  • Assist the management team in controlling expenses to ensure they are indexed to sales.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve financial performance and participate in analyzing economic trends and community needs for budget forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by holding hourly associates accountable and analyzing and interpreting reports.
  • Implement and monitor asset protection and safety controls, maintain quality assurance standards, and oversee safety and operational reviews.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates in assigned areas by hiring, training, mentoring, and actively listening to associates.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
  • Initiate, direct, and participate in community outreach programs by encouraging and supporting associates and managers in serving as good members of the community.

Requirements

  • 2 years' of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
