Lakeview Center's mission is to provide high-quality behavioral health care services to individuals and families in Northwest Florida.

The Meridian, a Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Program (SIPP), treats Medicaid and/or Medicaid-eligible children with serious emotional disturbances.

A Behavior Health Technician supports counselors/therapeutic/nursing staff in residential programs, inpatient settings, day/evening programs, outpatient programs, and/or community-based programs.

This role involves establishing positive relationships with individuals, assisting with daily living tasks, ensuring health and safety, implementing interventions, and monitoring progress.

Key qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience working with seriously emotionally disturbed children or seriously mentally ill adults.
  • Ability to provide integrated mental health services.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Pass background screenings and possess a valid driver's license.
