Job Summary

As a Medical Social Worker with CenterWell Home Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes. This is a per diem opportunity, allowing you to choose your schedule and work at your own pace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise food-service associates in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
  • Train employees, plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline associates; address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Advise management of purchasing requirements, focusing on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages.
  • Operate and clean equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use.
  • Store, label, and date food items according to policy; maintain established food rotations in storage to minimize spoilage and waste.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
  • Operate food-service equipment in a safe manner and according to established policies and procedures.
  • Help serve meals; remain present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must have a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
