The Role: RF Construction Lead
We are seeking an experienced RF Construction Lead to join our team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations at assigned sites, ensuring safety, quality control, and adherence to project specifications. Your leadership skills, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence will be instrumental in driving successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily site operations, ensuring projects adhere to schedules and specifications.
- Maintain accurate paperwork for the site and crew, including closeout documentation.
- Implement and follow job instructions provided by leadership.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain high quality standards at all times.
- Compile and submit site-specific closeout documentation to customer platforms.
- Collaborate with customer representatives on site-related activities, fostering positive relationships.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to crew members, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Ensure equipment and vehicles are maintained in optimal condition.
- Be prepared for travel as required for job assignments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the telecommunications construction industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in construction techniques, rigging, safety procedures, and general industry knowledge.
- Certifications in First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, and Connector attachment.
- Strong organizational, computer, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in reading, understanding, and constructing according to Construction Drawings (CDs) and RF Data Sheets to ensure accurate implementation of project plans.
- Expertise in assembling antenna sector frames, antennas, RRU/RRH (Remote Radio Units/Remote Radio Heads), Power and Fiber Distribution systems to industry standards.
- Skilled in installing coaxial cables, power, and fiber trunks, and making coax connections to ensure reliable RF signal transmission.
- Proficient in PIM and Sweep Testing.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and compliance with company motor vehicle policy.
- Ability to create a safe work environment with acceptable quality and efficiency.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on teaching and training proper work and safety procedures.
- Capable of tower climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs., and occasionally working up to 12 hours.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening (including marijuana) and background check.
