Telecommunications Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Pacific Network Solutions. This role will play a pivotal part in the installation, replacement, and repair of antenna systems equipment on towers. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tower climbing, construction drawings, and RF plumbing diagrams, as well as a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform tower climbs to install, replace, and repair antenna systems equipment.
  • Assist project supervisors with site planning, daily activities, and closeout documentation.
  • Read, understand, and construct according to construction drawings (CDs) and RF Data Sheets to ensure accurate implementation of project plans.
  • Assemble antenna sector frames, antennas, RRU/RRH (Remote Radio Units/Remote Radio Heads), Power and Fiber Distribution systems to industry standards.
  • Install coaxial cables, power, and fiber trunks, and make coax connections to ensure reliable RF signal transmission.
  • Maintain awareness of hazards associated with tower climbing and construction.
  • Ensure 100% Tie-Off for all crew members at all times.
  • Troubleshoot and report equipment performance issues.
  • Maintain a professional attitude when collaborating with supervisors and project managers.
  • Willingness to travel overnight as needed.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in climbing and working on towers.
  • Skilled in tower stacking and tower modification, with additional experience considered a plus for certain projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • OSHA 10/30, CPR/First Aid, RF Awareness, and Climb/Rescue certifications.
  • Proficiency in Line Sweep, PIM, and Fiber testing; certifications are advantageous.
  • Ability to climb towers and perform physical tasks such as squatting, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
  • Mandatory possession of a current valid Driver's License; CDL is a plus.
  • Ability to be covered by company auto insurance.
  • Knowledgeable with AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile standards.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drugs (including marijuana) and background screening.
  • Local to market or willing to relocate.
