Optum, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Tri-State region. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role:

  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Explain procedures and protocols to patients, providing clear and concise information.
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
  • Process and review images for proper identification and quality control.
  • Prepare images for reading by radiologists or requesting physicians.
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on radiologic equipment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • License or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology in the state of New York.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience working as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Experience with Epic EMR software.

Compensation and Benefits:

New York Residents Only: The hourly range for New York residents is $23.22 to $45.43 per hour. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
