Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant

We are looking for a committed individual to become part of our team as the Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant at Wilshire Health & Community Services.

The Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant plays a crucial role in providing therapeutic interventions and educating patients, while also collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

KEY PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

  • Administer direct therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Effectively manage each patient visit in alignment with established care plan objectives.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and uphold patient confidentiality.
  • Ensure precise and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Comply with State and Federal home health regulations and organizational policies.
  • Observe and assess the patient's condition, reporting any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.

This role primarily serves the South County region in California.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in California.
  • Completion of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
  • At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, ideally in a home health setting.
  • Valid CPR certification is mandatory.
