Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Position

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team for a travel assignment in Santa Maria, California.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care as a Physical Therapy Assistant, working closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans
  • Conduct patient assessments and provide data to physical therapists for treatment planning
  • Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a physical therapist
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant Studies or related field
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of California
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, with flexibility to work varying shifts
