Job Summary:We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work closely with our Regional Service Manager and existing personnel, as well as our Engineering and Automation group. The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems in various industries, including food and beverage, pharmaceutical, gas compression, chemical plants, cold storage, and recreational ice rink facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Repair and maintain industrial refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Adhere to and follow company safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain and manage truck and job boxes in an accurate and neat manner, along with truck inventory.
- Available to travel 25% of the time.
- Basic computer skills, including electronic documentation.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills, with the ability to deal with customers, suppliers, and co-workers.
- Minimum 1-2 years of field experience.
- RETA 1 & 2 certification is a plus, with the expectation of obtaining certifications.
- Universal EPA certification is an asset, with the expectation of obtaining certifications.
- Working knowledge of reciprocating, screw compressors, electrical troubleshooting, and common types of industrial refrigeration and/or gas compression experience.
- Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
- Industrial and commercial refrigeration experience is required.
- Previous experience with ammonia refrigerant is an asset.
