Job Summary:

CommonSpirit Health is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose patients in the emergency department, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency medicine or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
