Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all team members to ensure food preparation and production adhere to quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and ensure all kitchen equipment is operational.
  • Supervise proper food breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage.
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as required.
  • Work to maintain food costs within the parameters set by culinary leadership.
  • Collaborate with team members and restaurant managers to ensure guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • No formal college degree required.
  • A minimum of two years' experience as a line cook, including supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
  • Basic math skills to understand and follow recipe measurements and proportions.
Physical Requirements
  • Manual dexterity to chop, mix, blend, and whip various foods and liquids.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy pans from ovens or freezers, weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
