Construction Engineering Manager

DataSoft Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Construction Engineering Manager to lead our client's construction engineering team in Greenville, SC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and execute the construction engineering program, ensuring timely exchange of engineering information among the client, design engineer, and project teams.
  • Supervise project construction engineers and coordinate their activities with the construction engineering department and other project departments.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication between the company and design engineering to ensure the timely flow of design documents and information.
  • Collaborate with the Site Quality Manager to ensure that quality objectives are met for the project.
Requirements:
  • Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in a relevant field of study and eighteen years of work-related experience, or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twenty-two years if non-degreed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences, including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Construction Management degree or global equivalent.
  • Typically eighteen years of field project experience.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
  • Advanced computer and software skills, including the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
