Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Specialist to join our team at Community Concepts. This part-time position, 20 hours per week, offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals in need. As a self-identified mental health and/or substance use consumer, you will provide ongoing support and care to participants, helping them develop daily living skills and promote stability and economic mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage participants in skill-building opportunities and foster community inclusion through activities and education classes.
  • Provide individualized support and conversation to participants and family members when necessary.
  • Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and training activities to enhance professional growth.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist (CIPSS) certification within 12 months of hire and maintenance.
  • Previous experience as a consumer of mental health and/or substance use recovery services.
