About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sustainability Compliance Specialist to join our team at Inter IKEA Group. As a key member of our Supply Area Americas region, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our business partners meet the highest standards of sustainability and social responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct initial risk assessments, gap assessments, and regular verification activities related to IWAY – the IKEA Code of Conduct and Supply Chain Security.
  • Update and maintain all necessary systems where reports and results are registered.
  • Support the development teams during the IWAY implementation, maintenance, and development process at suppliers and sub-suppliers.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Corporate Social Responsibility, or a related field, or 3-4 years relevant work experience.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for international business trips.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive in the US.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum
