Cash Management Services Teller Job Description

Loomis is a leading provider of cash management services, with a network of nearly 200 branches across the US. As a Cash Management Services Teller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and secure preparation and processing of cash, coin, and check deposits for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify and process deposits using specialized counting equipment and procedures.
  • Separate and count currency, coin, and check deposits received from bank, ATM, and commercial customers.
  • Prepare currency and coin change orders by denomination for each customer assigned.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read, count, add, subtract, write, and record numbers.
  • Ability to perform simple computer data entry.
  • Ability to use a calculator by touch.
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time schedule with 40 hours per week, performed in 8-hour or split shifts.
  • Work is performed in a room or work area within a vault with limited exposure to outside light.
  • Work is performed from a sitting or standing position.
Essential Functions/Job Qualifications:

A Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) is required as part of the qualification process for this position. The evaluation includes testing in the following areas:

  • Lift: 2lbs vertical lift from 36 inches to 52 inches from the floor, 25lbs vertical lift from 8 inches to 33 inches from the floor, 18lbs vertical lift from 1 inch to 36 inches from the floor, and 2lbs vertical lift from 7 inches to 62 inches from the floor.
  • Lift-Carry: 30lbs vertical lift from 8 inches to 40 inches from the floor, and horizontally transfer 10ft.
  • Push-Pull: Horizontally transfer 47lbs of force on a sled with a single, non-dominant arm, a distance of 1ft.
  • Repetitive Coupling: Squeeze Jamar Hand Dynamometer requiring forces up to 30lbs with both right and left hands.
