If you are passionate about delivering compassionate, quality care and have a strong background in activities and recreation, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that spiritual, emotional, recreational, leisure, and social needs are met.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of our activity programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to our staff members to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality care.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in activities and recreation.
Requirements:
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), Master of Music Therapy (MMT), or Activity Therapist (AT) preferred.
- Must have a valid RAC (Recreational Activity Certification) and be in good standing.
- At least one year of experience working in the activities department in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
