Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that spiritual, emotional, recreational, leisure, and social needs are met.
  • Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of our activity programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to our staff members to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in activities and recreation.

Requirements:

  • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), Master of Music Therapy (MMT), or Activity Therapist (AT) preferred.
  • Must have a valid RAC (Recreational Activity Certification) and be in good standing.
  • At least one year of experience working in the activities department in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
