Carter Machinery Company, the authorized dealer for Caterpillar, is seeking a Rental Sales Supervisor. This role is pivotal in overseeing the operational facets of the rental facility, which encompasses inside sales activities, equipment transportation, and ensuring fleet inventory is ready for use.
The individual in this role will collaborate closely with service department supervisors to guarantee that customer requirements are met with the utmost efficiency. We are looking for candidates with a solid background in the Rental Equipment or Construction Service sectors. Previous supervisory experience in a service-oriented environment is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience is also desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive understanding of rental service operations.
- Ability to effectively promote equipment rentals and sales to clients.
- Monitor the business landscape to assist management in identifying and addressing opportunities and challenges.
- Excellent listening skills along with strong written and verbal communication abilities.

- Proficient in PC applications and adaptable to evolving technology.
- Capacity to manage high volumes of work in a dynamic environment.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends to meet customer needs.

Physical Requirements: Candidates must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing up to 20 pounds.
