Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to join our team at College of the Canyons. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Nutritional Science and Dietetics courses, as well as contributing to the development of curriculum and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Nutritional Science and Dietetics courses, including lectures, discussions, and laboratory sessions
  • Develop and implement curriculum and programs in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Assist with departmental and college-wide initiatives, such as program development and assessment
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field with a Master's degree in a related field
  • California Community College Instructor Credential in Nutritional Science/Dietetics, or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Nutrition and Dietetics courses, preferably at the community college level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators
