Join Fliff's Finance Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance Controller to support the financial management of our organization. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, and highlight any discrepancies or areas of concern to senior management.
  • Support the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts by gathering data and preparing reports.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports on key financial metrics, such as profitability, revenue growth, and cash flow.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Coordinate with other departments within the organization to gather financial information and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns, financial audits, and other regulatory filings.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as accounting, finance, or auditing.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards, such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in financial modeling, data analysis, and report preparation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends and insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with financial software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
