We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm System Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings.
Job Overview:
- Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems, including programming and configuring equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults in fire alarm systems, using troubleshooting procedures and technical manuals
- Perform regular maintenance on fire alarm systems, including inspections and testing
- Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with customers and district staff
- Work safely, adhering to all OSHA and Johnson Controls safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- 3+ years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety systems
- 2+ Years of Programming alarm or access alarm panels
- Candidate should have experience working in a programming environment
- NICET Level II certification is preferred but not required
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We offer a competitive hourly rate, paid vacation/holidays/sick time, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
