Our mission is to empower our customers to create unforgettable experiences while exploring urban landscapes on two wheels.
YOUR ROLE
We maintain a diverse fleet of Hybrid, Electric, and Mountain bikes and are seeking a Bicycle Technician to handle repairs and routine maintenance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to company standards and protocols in the assembly and maintenance of bicycles (including tune-ups, flat tire repairs, gear adjustments, accessory installations, derailleur replacements, wheel truing, etc.)
Assess the mechanical condition of bicycles and identify necessary repairs
Follow detailed work orders and documentation to ensure accurate job completion
Assist in receiving and verifying bicycle and parts shipments
Maintain cleanliness in the mechanic workspace, including benches and shared areas.
Align wheels, adjust brakes and brake pads, modify shifter and brake cables, install tires, etc.
Clean and service bicycles in our fleet
Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in working with hybrid bikes, electric bikes, mountain bikes, and children's equipment is essential.
A minimum of 1 year of experience as a technician/mechanic in a bicycle shop is required.
Previous experience in bike assembly or equivalent is preferred
A strong interest in collaborating within a team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Effective communication skills with colleagues and customers in a professional manner
Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on seasonal demands, including some evenings and weekends
Capability to lift bicycles and packages weighing up to 50 pounds
Must present a professional, friendly demeanor and maintain a responsible appearance.
