  • Evaluate the viability of patent requests and complete patent applications with precision.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their intellectual property needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Thorough understanding of technology and scientific developments, with a focus on patent prosecution.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of work and occasional stress.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 or related software, with the ability to learn new tools and technologies.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or an advanced chemical or biotech degree, required.
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, required.
  • Active license to practice law and in good standing, required.
  • Registration to practice before the USPTO, required.
  • Previous experience working in a law firm, corporate legal department, or tech transfer office, preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasional lifting of objects up to 20 pounds.
