Nurse Supervisor

Quality Talent Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse Manager to join our team at Putnam Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring the highest level of care and quality of life for our residents.
Responsibilities:
Organize and supervise assigned unit activities and staff assignments
Demonstrate clinical expertise consistent with established standards of nursing practice
Identify and respond to patient needs in a timely and appropriate manner
Monitor and document vital signs, treatments administered, and patient responses
Administer medications and treatments as needed
Communicate and direct services to appropriate team members, residents, family, or medical staff as needed
Identify and follow disciplinary action as stated in policy
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and other vendors/services
Perform RN assessment to residents' post-incidents or change in condition
Lead and direct emergency situations
Maintain accurate nursing reports, staffing sheets, and census rosters
Requirements:
Current and good standing RN license in the State of New York
Previous experience with geriatric/short-term rehabilitation/Alzheimer's patients is desirable
Progressive nursing experience in a geriatric setting, supervisory experience preferred
Dedicated to providing extraordinary, quality, compassionate care to each resident
Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes challenging residents
Have patience and willingness to assist any residents and co-workers
Have excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organization skills
Able to work well under pressure, flexible, and will work harmoniously with all staff
