Nurse Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Supervisor at Putnam Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. As a Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.

• Organize and supervise assigned unit activities and staff assignments
• Monitor and respond to patient needs in a timely and appropriate manner
• Administer medications and treatments as needed
• Communicate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and other vendors/services
• Perform RN assessments and lead emergency situations
• Maintain accurate nursing reports, staffing sheets, and census rosters

• Current and good standing RN License in the State of New York
• Previous experience with geriatric/short-term rehabilitation/Alzheimer's patients is desirable
• Progressive nursing experience in a geriatric setting, with supervisory experience preferred
• Dedicated to providing extraordinary, quality, compassionate care to each resident
• Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes challenging residents
• Have patience and willingness to assist any residents and co-workers
• Have excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organization skills
• Able to work well under pressure, flexible, and will work harmoniously with all staff
