Job Overview:
The Primary Care Physician is responsible for coordinating clinical services in collaboration with the Primary Care Health Systems Administrator to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare. This role includes providing guidance to other healthcare providers and engaging in direct patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Participate in administrative and clinical leadership meetings to develop policies and procedures that meet quality care standards in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
2. Engage in population health management and public health initiatives, advising on the effective use of healthcare resources.
3. Advocate for and lead process improvement initiatives, including but not limited to, chronic disease management and patient-centered care models.
4. Collaborate with the Health Leadership team to enhance healthcare delivery.

Essential Duties:
- Assume a leadership role within a primary care team.
- Support and promote a patient-centered, integrated care philosophy.
- Provide medical consultations to other healthcare providers and administrative staff.
- Contribute to administrative decision-making and policy recommendations.
- Participate in quality care initiatives and accreditation processes.
- Work with the Health Systems Administrator to optimize patient flow and access to care.
- Conduct peer review activities and assist in standardizing medical protocols.
- Collaborate with various departments to improve population health outcomes.
- Recommend innovative treatment modalities in partnership with health leadership.
- Assist in the credentialing of new healthcare providers.
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize electronic health records effectively for documentation and population health management.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training.

Working Conditions:
- Medium work involving lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
- Physical activities include standing, walking, using hands, and communicating effectively.

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.
- 7-10 years of experience in Family Practice, particularly in cross-cultural healthcare settings.
- Experience in a multi-provider medical environment.
- Current medical licensure and DEA certification required.
- Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and healthcare accreditation standards.
