Job Summary

The Neuro Diagnostic Technologist is a key member of the Beaufort Memorial team, responsible for performing cardiac and neurological diagnostic procedures and testing under the written order of a physician. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform cardiac and neurological diagnostic procedures and testing under the written order of a physician.
  • Follow established quality standards and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of cardiac and neurological diagnostic procedures and technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and developments in the field.

Requirements

  • Education:
    • High School graduate preferred.
    • Graduate of certification program in Neuro-diagnostics.
    • Specialized training in Neuro-diagnostics to meet certification requirements preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Two years in Neuro-diagnostic area with age varied exposure.
  • Certifications/Licenses:
    • BLS required prior to first clinical shift (must be issued by the American Heart Association).
    • Prefer graduate of program for Neurodiagnostics.
    • Certified Neuro-diagnostic Technicians may perform studies independently with over site by the Medical Director.
