Position Overview:
Distinctive Home & Health Care stands as a premier provider of healthcare services dedicated to military installations throughout the United States. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional service and support to all our clients.
We are currently in search of a full-time MRI Technologist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine diagnostic imaging procedures as required.
- Follow radiation safety protocols in alignment with departmental guidelines.
- Transmit the necessary image series to the radiologist for evaluation in accordance with established protocols.
- Accurately position patients for examinations and make necessary technical adjustments. Assess if any special preparations are needed for patients.
- Process digital images and submit them for radiologist interpretation.
- Maintain documentation of all procedures and uphold records in compliance with organizational policies.
- Perform system calibrations and quality control tasks as directed, recognizing artifacts and equipment errors, and alerting appropriate personnel.
- Initiate repair requests for equipment issues by notifying designated personnel and logging the condition in the maintenance record.
- Monitor and report any symptoms affecting the patient's condition due to adverse reactions, and inform the radiologist of any urgent issues requiring attention. Be prepared to implement emergency measures for patients in critical situations.
Qualifications:
Degree: Certificate.
Education: Graduate from a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
Certification: Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the relevant specialty.
Experience: Minimum of one year working as a radiologic technologist or in a related specialty area.
