Position Overview

The Neurodiagnostic Technician plays a crucial role in executing cardiac and neurological diagnostic evaluations and tests, adhering to the directives provided by a licensed physician. This position demands compliance with established quality benchmarks and operational guidelines within the realms of Cardiopulmonary and Neurology, as well as hospital protocols. The technician is also expected to uphold recognized behavioral standards in their professional conduct.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

A high school diploma is preferred. Completion of a certification program in Neuro-diagnostics is required. Specialized training in Neuro-diagnostics to fulfill certification prerequisites is advantageous.

Professional Experience:

A minimum of two years of experience in the Neuro-diagnostic field, with exposure to a diverse age range of patients.

Certifications and Licenses:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory prior to commencing clinical duties (must be accredited by the American Heart Association). Preference will be given to candidates who have graduated from a Neurodiagnostics program. Certified Neuro-diagnostic Technicians are authorized to conduct studies independently, under the supervision of the Medical Director.
