POSITION SUMMARY
As a Transport Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the safe and efficient transportation of guests to designated locations using the company vehicle. You will be required to document all trips before and after each journey, ensuring that the vehicle is parked in the appropriate area when not in use. Regular inspections of the vehicle for cleanliness and damage are essential, as well as checking tire pressure and fluid levels, and refueling as necessary. Any maintenance needs should be reported promptly.
It is crucial to report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management and to complete necessary safety training and certifications. Adherence to company policies and procedures is mandatory, including maintaining a professional appearance and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information. You will be expected to welcome guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and assist individuals with disabilities, always expressing genuine appreciation.
Effective communication is key; you will engage with guests and colleagues using clear and professional language, utilizing electronic devices for information exchange. Building and maintaining positive relationships with team members is vital, as is compliance with quality assurance standards. You will need to read and verify information in various formats and visually inspect tools and equipment for defects.
Physical requirements include the ability to move quickly in response to work situations, stand or walk for extended periods, and lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance. You should be comfortable navigating uneven surfaces and stairs, and demonstrate continual use of manual dexterity and motor skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: No prior experience required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
License or Certification: Valid Driver's License is essential.
