Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nutrition Specialist to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition guidance and education to patients with diabetes and other metabolic disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for patients with diabetes and other metabolic disorders
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and lifestyle modifications
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services
  • Conduct quality assurance and compliance activities to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and corporate policies
  • Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of nutrition-related programs and services
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, Home Science, or related field
  • Licensed as a Registered Dietetic Technician or Registered Dietician or Dietary Manager Association or as applicable
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, Home Science, or related field; 2-3 years of experience in acute care clinical nutrition or relevant area; active CDCES certification or willingness to obtain certification within 1 year; 15+ contact hours in diabetes topics; EPIC/EMR experience; bilingual
